5 Free Hotaru CMS Themes 2011

You will have noticed by now that I don’t only write about WordPress but also cover other CMS and Microblogging platforms. Why you ask? I think it’s important to keep up to date with other systems and understand how they can benefit your WordPress blog.  This post covers five free themes for the Hotaru CMS. Hotaru is a new, yet very stylish and stable Content Management System. It’s most famous for its Social Bookmarking plugins, which I use at WordPress News Net. I use WPNewsNet as a place for WordPress Blog owners such as myself to announce the latest blog posts on all my WordPress related blogs. If you have a blog feel free to submit your posts, but remember, it’s a live site so please don’t post any spam.

Most likely the most popular custom Hotaru theme. It’s truly a freemium as it provides a massive amount of options and extras in terms of features and design.

2. Lounge

Nice, classy and clean. Provides extra options for adsense and 125×125 ad integration.
Description
3 columns theme W3C & CSS compliant. Lounge provide a first column for the main content, a middle column whre you can put 125x125px and AdSense code 120×600 simply editing index.php. Last column is for the sidebar.
By editing footer.php you can put your code for AdSense 728×90. You can also slogan site and top headline, directly from admin control panel via theme settings, and last, there are pre-made pages: About, FAQ, Terms of Service and Privacy: you need only to fill with your information and data

Very basic, quick loading and works well with more posts per page.

Description
HTML valid, two-column theme loosely modeled on Tipd.com It uses a basic 960 frame and has no customized plugin files with the exception of a few plugin overrides at the bottom of style.css.

Red, offers three column layout and also sports some yellow. Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of yellow.

Never tried this one, but it looks nice and offers different color options.
